Intel Celeron M
The thin-and-light Inspiron 1300 series, based on the new Celeron M processor, marks the start of an ambitious new corporate look for Dell. The notebooks also carry the very latest components, including Pentium M processors and Intel's new 855 chipset. The 1300 series is a true-blue Dell.
The silver & black 1300 is a smooth, sleeker version of the gray C410. One may think that the1300 could not possibly have much to offer at such a low price, but you will be surprised at how much horsepower this budget notebook has.
The exterior design, is beautiful. The B120 is mostly black. The back of the screen is gray colored, with a silver Dell logo in the center. Also the keyboard has a gray border surrounding it, which some people may find visually pleasing. The plastic latches on top of the screen hold the base firmly closed and only a very strong force could break it open. The screen hinges are strong and they don't adjust themselves while moving the laptop from one location to another.
The sleek new Inspiron 1300 redefines value in a great-looking notebook. With more processor power than previous value systems, the 1300 handles essential computing plus anything your peripherals can dish out. Three advanced USB ports, a video port, and media bay plug you into multimedia. Easy integrated connectivity keeps you in touch.
